Memorial Funds

  • Hannah Grace Crumby Memorial Scholarship
    The Hannah Grace Crumby Memorial Scholarship Fund provides financial support to a graduate of an accredited public high school in Springdale pursuing post-secondary education at a university, community college, or vocational school.
  • Stephanie Hager Memorial Scholarship
    Established in 2025, the Stephanie Hager Memorial Scholarship will honor Stephanie’s life and legacy by providing one-time scholarships to Springdale Schools graduates who have lost a parent or guardian. Stephanie left a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion. Stephanie’s life and legacy will live on by providing financial assistance to graduates who have walked the life-changing path of losing a parent or guardian. These graduates are truly remarkable for the adversity they have overcome, and we hope to honor them as they pursue their next chapter in life.
  • Donaldson Family Legacy Scholarship
    The Donaldson Family Legacy Scholarship Fund provides a one-time $5,000 scholarship to a graduate of an accredited public high school in the Springdale School District pursuing post-secondary education at a university or community college in Arkansas.
  • Glenda and Randell Snavely Memorial Scholarship
    The Glenda and Randell Snavely Memorial Scholarship fund provides scholarships to graduates of an accredited public high school in Springdale who currently works for the Springdale School District Food Service Program, or has a relative that works for the Springdale School District Food Service Program, or a relative that is a former Springdale School District Food Service Program employee, or has a family member who works for the Springdale School District as a classified staff employee.
  • Jeff Charlesworth Scholarship
    By all accounts, Jeff Charlesworth was a phenomenal athlete and a wonderful student. Karol possesses these same characteristics that would make Jeff’s family very proud. Jeff unfortunately passed away at an early age and his family created this scholarship in his memory. The Jeff Charlesworth Scholarship is a one-time award for $1000.
  • Jim Cypert Aspire and Achieve Scholarship
    The Jim Cypert Aspire and Achieve Scholarship Fund provides support to students who are a graduate of an accredited public high school in Springdale pursuing post-secondary education at a two- or four-year college or university.
  • Suzanne Graham Memorial Scholarship
    The Suzanne Graham Memorial Scholarship provides support to students who are a graduate of an accredited public high school in Springdale, Arkansas pursuing post-secondary education at a two- or four-year college or vocational school.
  • Pat R. Henry Memorial Scholarship
    The Pat R. Henry Memorial Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to Springdale residents interested in pursuing an undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas or Hendrix College.
  • Pat Ellison Memorial Scholarship
    Pat Ellison taught for 35 years as an Arkansas music educator. During this time, she was hired as the director of bands at Springdale High School and the coordinator of instrumental music for the Springdale School District, a position that she held for 23 years.
  • Coach Kevin Johnson Memorial Scholarship
    Kevin Johnson served as teacher and Head Football Coach at Springdale High School. Although Kevin had great success in coaching, his real satisfaction came from his membership in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and his service to the students and staff in Springdale.
  • Geneva Powers Memorial Scholarship
    Geneva Powers Graduated from Springdale High School in 1961. In 1965, she began her public teaching career at Springdale High School, where she initiated the choral music program.
  • Jeff Whorton Memorial Scholarship
    Founded by a dedicated group of Springdale community leaders, the Jeff Whorton Memorial Scholarship Fund serves local students by providing financial assistance for their educational pursuits. In its inaugural year, the fund has awarded scholarships to numerous deserving individuals, significantly impacting their ability to pursue higher education and vocational training. What sets this organization apart is its commitment to honoring the legacy of Jeff Whorton, fostering a culture of support and community engagement that empowers the next generation of learners in Springdale, Arkansas.
  • Eddie Downing Memorial Fund
    Robert Edward “Eddie” Downing, Jr., age 71, of Rogers passed away Saturday July 4, 2020 in Rogers. Eddie taught history and coached for 40 years at Dermott, Warren and Watson Chapel High Schools. During his life, he enjoyed helping kids, but his greatest joy was being heavily involved in his kids and grandchildren’s activities. After retirement he enjoyed bowling and playing golf with family and friends.
  • Teeta Rollins Memorial Fund
    Annette Karel “Teeta” Rollins of Hindsville, Arkansas, was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on November 17, 1951, the daughter of Richard and Janet Thurow. She passed away on September 6, 2016, in Des Moines, Iowa, after a valiant battle with a long-term illness. She was predeceased by her father, Richard Thurow. She is survived by: her mother, Janet Thurow of North Little Rock, Arkansas; her husband of 38 years, Dr. Jim D. Rollins; her son, Joseph Ryan Rollins, and his wife, Paige; two grandchildren, Kinley Rollins and Jacob Rollins; two brothers, Rick Thurow (and wife, Bernee) and Jerry Thurow (and wife Micki); nephew Brian Thurow; nieces Beth Stiger, Joely Thurow and Anna Kruger; and three great-nieces, Kathryn, Emily and Sarah Stiger. Her endearing personality and ready smile and humor will be deeply missed by a multitude of friends and colleagues in the greater community.
