In December 2023, our librarian, Ms. Laney, applied for and was awarded a grant from the Springdale Public Schools Education Foundation. This grant was utilized to purchase 25 Wonderbooks and Playaways for the students to check out from the library! Wonderbooks and Playaways allow the students to listen to the audiobook as they read along to build comprehension, fluency, and the love of reading. The students are so excited to begin checking out these amazing devices and having fun with reading!

En diciembre de 2023, nuestra bibliotecaria, la Srta. Laney, solicitó y recibió una subvención de la Fundación Educativa de las Escuelas Públicas de Springdale. ¡Esta subvención se utilizó para comprar 25 Wonderbooks y Playaways para que los estudiantes los lleven prestados de la biblioteca! Wonderbooks y Playaways permiten a los estudiantes escuchar el audiolibro mientras leen para desarrollar la comprensión, la fluidez y el amor por la lectura. ¡Los estudiantes están muy emocionados de comenzar a probar estos increíbles dispositivos y divertirse leyendo!
